The A'Lavon Hair and Beauty Company is a brand reflective of a woman and her passion for her craft and the love in her heart for her only child, her daughter Jasmine. Jakia Jones who is the owner of Jazzy Elegance Natural Hair Salon, has been a mental health therapist for many years but knew since she was a child that the hair and beauty industry was her true passion. She decided in 2021 to take her traveling salon into a store front and opened Jazzy Elegance Natural Hair Services in Asheboro NC. In thinking of how she wanted the clients to feel when they left the salon she thought of the qualities her daughter Jasmine who was 8 years old at the time possessed. She is sassy, energetic, lively, bold, fearless, but very prissy, elegant and demur at the same time. "Thats it! Thats Jazzy! I want them to feel Jazzy and Elegant " she said to herself. So that is how Jakia came up with the name for the salon, from her own Jazzy! It is very common in the Jazzy Elegance Salon to hear Jakia say to a client when she is done with a style and they love it, "Oh yeah, now that's real Jazzy!" Motherhood according to Jakia is the most important of all her accomplishments, This concept of motherhood and womanhood can inspired the brand name A'Lavon as Jakia wanted to pay homage to her own mother who died from cervical cancer in 2010. A'Lavon is her mother's middle name and will one day be seen by women all over the world and their families too!
